Jordanian EdTech and Venture Capital Leaders Meet Jordan's Ambassador to the UK During BETT London

As part of the Jordanian delegation's participation in the BETT Show in London, a group of Jordanian EdTech founders and venture capital leaders met with Manar Dabbas, Jordan's Ambassador to the United Kingdom, to explore opportunities for advancing EdTech investment, innovation, and cross border partnerships between Jordan and the UK.

The delegation included Amer Nasereddin and Mohammad Khawaja of Fikr Ventures, Sinan Sweis representing Jabal Amman Publishers, and Zaid Tahabsem from ITG, bringing together expertise across venture capital, educational technology, digital publishing, and enterprise IT.

Discussions centered on venture capital deployment in EdTech, pathways for scaling Jordanian education technology companies internationally, and the role of public private collaboration in accelerating innovation. Particular attention was given to Jordan's growing EdTech ecosystem, its talent base, and its potential to serve as a regional hub for learning technologies targeting MENA and emerging markets.

The meeting also addressed opportunities arising from Jordanian participation in BETT Show, including strategic partnerships with UK EdTech firms, investors, and education stakeholders, as well as exposure to global best practices in digital learning, AI driven education, and scalable platform models.

The delegation expressed appreciation to Ambassador Dabbas for his continued support in connecting Jordanian innovators with international investors and decision makers, and for reinforcing the role of diplomatic missions in enabling investment ready ecosystems. The meeting underscored the importance of sustained engagement between Jordanian EdTech leaders, venture capital firms, and diplomatic institutions in strengthening Jordan UK cooperation in education, technology, and innovation led growth.
